Now she's been born,
Why has she been born?
Because her mother loves another
Enough to let this jewel adorn.

Now she's walking,
Where is she walking?
She doesn't care,
She knows her loving parents will always be there.

Now she's falling,
Why is she falling?
Because their eyes met
And they're as beautiful as a hundred sunsets.

Now she's crying,
Why is she crying?
Because she doesn't understand what's wrong,
So she suffers in silence and tries to stay strong.

Now she's kissing,
Who is she kissing?
That girl she fell in love with all those years ago,
Who brings her so much happiness but soon will bring her woe.

Now she's screaming,
Why's she screaming?
She's trying to drown out their angry voices,
That try to tell her she's making the wrong choices.

Now she's recovering,
Where is she recovering?
In a hospitable bed,
Because they beat her till she was almost dead.

Now she's weeping,
Why is she weeping?
Because her lover is in a bathtub full of blood,
Because she finally had enough.

Now she's fleeing,
Why is she fleeing?
Because they're chasing her,
Wanting to lay waste to her.

Now she's cornered,
Why is she cornered?
Because she loved a girl,
Who was everything to her in the world.

Now she's choking,
Why is she choking?
Because they've hung her above the door,
Cheering louder than ever before.

Now she's dying,
How is she dying.
With a sign around that yells
That she'll be burning when she gets to hell.

Now she's wondering,
What is she wondering?
If she wanted to go to heaven anyway,
If these people would be there because they pray.

Now she's no longer breathing,
Why isn't she breathing?
Because she's dead,
Because people believe the lies that they've been fed
